Easton Bus Service’s Story

Easton Bus Service, Inc. is a locally operated transportation company proudly serving the Kansas City, Kansas area. With locations in Basehor and Leavenworth, we operate a fleet of nearly 80 vehicles, including school buses and transit vans, delivering safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services to the communities we serve. Our team is committed to creating a caring, efficient, and cost-effective experience for every student, passenger, and customer.

In 2021, Easton Bus Service joined the Beacon Mobility family of transportation companies, strengthening our commitment to providing dependable service while maintaining the local relationships and community focus that define who we are.

Bus Enrollment 2026-2027 School Year

Leavenworth School District [KS]

Important information:

It may take up to 7 business days for students to be assigned to a bus route once enrollment is submitted.
If you have a child that qualifies for Special Education transportation, you DO NOT need to fill out an enrollment form.
If you reside at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas please contact Fort Leavenworth Transportation for your busing needs.

Parent-Pay Services:
The Leavenworth School District follows the State of Kansas transportation funding formula, providing busing for those students who live more than 2.5 miles from their designated school.

The Leavenworth School District permits those students living within 2.5 miles to ride a bus supported by state funds, if there is space available and a bus in your area.

Please note: There may be fees associated with Parent-Pay Services.

In cases where transportation is set up prior to the start of the school year, once your child’s transportation is set up, you will be contacted via email with their bus information the week before school starts.
